Youth Art Classes
Youth Development (Ages 10-14)
Youth Development Classes help your child discover their talents by learning the elements in virtual group classes and custom creative development plans.
Your child will receive a report with their top three talents and ideas for how to illuminate, and provide action steps when they take Clifton StrengthsExplorer.
The StrengthsExplorer report will be a guide to help them develop their unique creative practice, help you recognize their talents at work, and help me guide to develop their unique artistic voice
Using StrengthsExplorer discover your child's talents can lead to:
resilience and confidence
productivity and engagement in school
hope and direction for the future
Expert Art Instruction
Classes will have a curriculum with seasonally thematic projects that focus on technique and famous artists/art movements. Your child will learn to work in a wide range of traditional and digital media, including drawing, printmaking, painting, and digital photography.
Each class examines a famous artist, theme, or subject to which your child will apply their creative perspective.
A Community of Young Artists
Your child will learn to recognize their classmate's talents and unique approach for making art as they regularly attend classes, forming a community to ask each other for advice and artistic collaboration.
As a creative developer, I want you and your child to spend more time making art and less time setting up. You’ll get resources to set up in a working space in under five minutes, art material lists, printable templates and more.
You will keep the sessions you pay for, even if your child can't make the class or needs to leave mid-session.
